The partnership centers on Transcenta's proprietary Highly Intensified Continuous Bioprocessing (HiCB) platform, marking a significant step toward transforming biologics manufacturing efficiency.
Technology Transfer and Platform Benefits
Under the agreement, Transcenta will grant EirGenix (search) a non-exclusive license to use its HiCB platform, which includes highly productive continuous perfusion and integrated hybrid continuous purification process technologies. The licensing package encompasses comprehensive process documentation, know-how, and regulatory support materials designed to facilitate implementation.
The HiCB platform is engineered to deliver greater process efficiency, improve process control and product consistency, and significantly reduce cost of goods compared to conventional fed-batch manufacturing processes. Financial Structure and Implementation
