Focus on GLP-1 Incretin-Based Therapies
The study will specifically examine incretin-based weight loss medicines (GLP-1 (搜索)), which copy or boost the effects of natural hormones called incretins (搜索) that control blood sugar levels. These medications act on brain areas that impact hunger and appetite and can slow gastric emptying, potentially helping people with obesity (搜索) regulate their eating habits.
