Commercial Rollout Timeline
Under the partnership terms, CSL Seqirus (search) will begin commercializing Valneva's single-dose chikungunya (search) vaccine IXCHIQ from July 2025. The rollout will expand in January 2026 to include IXIARO, Valneva's Japanese encephalitis (search) vaccine, and DUKORAL, the company's cholera (search)/ETEC vaccine. The agreement includes minimum annual purchasing quantities and standard termination clauses based on change of control and non-performance.
The new partnership replaces Valneva's existing marketing and distribution agreement with Bavarian Nordic, signed in 2021, which concludes at the end of December 2025.
