Biostatistics Leadership Deepens with Two Veteran Appointments
Dr. Zhaohui Su joins Veristat (search) as Vice President of Statistical Consulting. After beginning his career in academia working on clinical trials at Harvard University, Dr. Su held a biostatistical leadership role at Quintiles (now IQVIA) before building biostatistics teams from the ground up at OM1 and subsequently at Ontada, McKesson's oncology technology and insights business unit.

His career includes senior leadership roles at Syntex (search) and SuperGen (search), where he led the biostatistics team for more than a decade as executive director, followed by leadership positions at Astex Pharmaceuticals (search) and Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Oncology (search). Dr. Fine has an exceptional track record spanning NDA, MAA, BLA, and IND submissions and approvals across oncology, autoimmune disorders, pain management, and rare disease.
Strategic Drug Development Advisory Under New Leadership
Scott Tarrant has been named Executive Vice President and global head of Veristat (search)'s Strategic Drug Development consultancy. Tarrant brings 30 years of life sciences experience, having served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers before holding positions with Nalco Chemical, Therimmune, and Xceleron. At Xceleron, he helped scale U.S. operations from a start-up to a $12 million company. Most recently, Tarrant served as Chief Business Officer at RRD Biopharma Development, where he rapidly grew the company from 15 to 50 employees.
Human Resources Leadership to Support Integration and Growth
Clint Wolfe joins as Chief Human Resources Officer with more than 25 years of experience leading global teams across private equity-owned and public life sciences companies. Most recently, Wolfe served as CHRO at Neovance and Endpoint Clinical Solutions, previously part of the Fortrea Corporation (search). He has also held executive positions at ArisGlobal and BioClinica, and spent 16 years at IMS Health (now IQVIA).
