(NYSE: WST) has announced the availability of its West Synchrony™ prefillable syringe (PFS) system across key Asia-Pacific markets, unveiling the integrated platform at CPHI & PMEC China 2026 in Shanghai (June 16–18) and CPHI Southeast Asia in Bangkok (July 8–10, 2026). The launch represents a strategic move to support the region's rapidly expanding biologics and vaccines sector with a fully verified, single-supplier containment and delivery system.
The West Synchrony™ PFS system uniquely integrates the syringe barrel, plunger, and needle shield/tip cap into a harmonized, verified platform from one source. This design eliminates the traditional approach of sourcing individual components from multiple suppliers, which the company notes introduces significant technical and regulatory complexities.
