Precision Chemotherapy: A Novel Approach
KL-50 selectively targets the DNA (search) of malignant cells, sparing healthy cells to halt replication. This mechanism differs from traditional kinase inhibitors or broad-spectrum chemotherapies. "We call it precision chemotherapy. It's targeted DNA damage to tumor cells that have specific biomarkers," Bindra stated. The drug is being developed for use both as a monotherapy and in combination with other treatments.
Addressing a Critical Unmet Need

Modifi plans to initiate clinical trials within the next 18 months.
