The Hangzhou-based company, founded in 2021, will use the funding to accelerate clinical development of its differentiated pipeline, which includes products already in Phase I and Phase II trials. Existing shareholders include Taifu Capital, Hangzhou State-owned Assets, and Runzhang Venture Capital.
Clinical Pipeline Shows Promise Across Multiple Indications
Yangli Pharmaceutical's current clinical portfolio features the highly selective aldosterone synthase inhibitor VB19055 (search) for hypertension, alongside small-molecule targeted drugs TFX05 (search), TFX06, and VB15 for various solid tumors. The company's pre-clinical pipeline extends to small-molecule and small-nucleic-acid therapies covering tumors, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes.
The company follows an "In China, For Global" R&D strategy, developing Class 1 innovative drugs with global intellectual property rights that are designed to be first-in-class or best-in-class therapeutics addressing unmet clinical needs.
