A randomized open-label multicenter trial in Denmark compared BiliCocoon to overhead phototherapy for neonates with TSB above treatment limit. 85 neonates were randomized, 44 to BiliCocoon and 41 to overhead phototherapy. Treatment duration was 24h, with continuous phototherapy for BiliCocoon and intermittent breaks for overhead. Irradiance levels were measured and adjusted, with BiliCocoon showing a homogeneous distribution and overhead light highest centrally. TSB and hemoglobin were measured before and after treatment to assess efficacy.

The SafeBoosC-III trial group includes medical professionals from various hospitals across Europe, Turkey, China, India, and the United States.

Brain+ starts clinical trial of BrainBlossom, its next-gen cognitive training tech for Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), in collaboration with Aalborg University Hospital. The trial aims to test the feasibility and impact of BrainBlossom as a home-delivered treatment for MCI, with results expected in early 2025. Success could lead to a larger trial for regulatory data and a partnership for commercialization.
