• The unauthorized ethics committee at VS Hospital allegedly collected substantial fees for approving these trials, with payments reportedly deposited directly into the doctors' bank accounts.
• Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has suspended associate professor Dr. Devang Rana and relieved eight contractual doctors following the investigation, which began after a complaint filed by a Congress corporator in February.
