Drug Farm and Amoytop Partner on First-in-Class ALPK1 Agonist DF-006 for Hepatitis B and Liver Cancer Treatment

- Drug Farm and Xiamen Amoytop Biotech have entered into an option agreement for clinical collaboration on DF-006, a first-in-class ALPK1 agonist targeting hepatitis B and hepatocellular cancer in Greater China. - DF-006 is an orally administered immunomodulator that stimulates innate immunity in the liver and has completed dose evaluation studies in healthy volunteers and chronic hepatitis B patients with encouraging anti-HBV activity. - The collaboration will assess the clinical combination of DF-006 with Amoytop's approved drug PEGBING® as a potential therapeutic regimen to improve functional cure rates in hepatitis B patients. - Preclinical studies demonstrate that DF-006 shows enhanced efficacy against hepatitis B when combined with interferon-alpha, offering potential for sustained functional cure with reduced hepatocellular cancer risk.
