简要总结
Tinea corporis is a common and recurrent superficial fungal infection in India, particularly affecting individuals aged 20–50 years, with growing resistance and adverse effects associated with conventional antifungal therapies. Tellurium metallicum, a well-indicated homoeopathic remedy for ring-shaped, pruritic, and offensive skin lesions, closely corresponds to the clinical presentation of tinea corporis; however, clinical evidence for its effectiveness in LM potencies remains limited. This prospective single-arm study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Tellurium metallicum in LM potencies for the management of tinea corporis using the Tinea Corporis Score (TCS). A total of 32 clinically diagnosed patients (ICD-10 CM B35.4), aged 20–50 years, will be enrolled through purposive sampling from the OPD and IPD of Parul Institute of Homoeopathy and Research Hospital, Vadodara. Tellurium metallicum will be administered orally in liquid form, starting from LM 0/1 and adjusted according to clinical response, with weekly follow-up for up to 6 weeks. Treatment outcomes will be assessed using TCS, and the collected data will be statistically analyzed to determine the clinical effectiveness of the intervention.
