入排标准
入选标准
- •Consecutive adult male patients in the age group of 25-50 years with primary, uncomplicated, unilateral/bilateral inguinal hernia will be included in the study.
排除标准
- •Following patients will be excluded from the study-
- •1.Female patients
- •2.Male < 25yrs and >50yrs
- •3.Patients with history of previous surgery in the inguino-scrotal region
- •4.Recurrent inguinal hernia
- •5.Complicated hernia(irreducible, obstructed, strangulated)
- •6.Hydrocele
- •7.Epididymitis
- •8.History of orchidectomy
- •9.Patients with significant co-morbidities like coronary artery disease, uncontrolled hypertension and diabetes mellitus, chronic bronchitis, renal and hepatic failure
- •10.Patients unfit for general anesthesia(ASA 3 or 4)
- •11.Patients with uncontrolled coagulopathy
- •12.Patients not giving consent
