Anaesthesiology is a vast specialty which has expanded its realms over time extending from perioperative patient care to critical care management. Despite its expansion and the vast avenues, it offers to the students, the choice of anaesthesiology as a career remains elusive. Career decisions are often hard, in majority cases are driven by passion (especially amongst anaesthesiology residents) and money earning capacity. They may be influenced by multiple extrinsic and intrinsic factors. Due to this lack of interest in anaesthesiology we are always facing a dearth in the number of working hands, thus affecting critical functioning of the operating theatre, ICU and emergency services like intubation and ventilation. The present pandemic of COVID-19 has further highlighted the importance of the anaesthesiologists in management of these patients and also exposed the scarcity of available anaesthesiologists. COVID -19 may also has the effect on stress level of postgraduate students. This study will help in analysing the current status of attitude and stress level of the subject (anaesthesia) amongst postgraduate students and what can we do to improve its status further to strengthen our workforce.Aim: - To study the Effect of COVID 19 on postgraduate resident’s stress level and their attitude toward anaesthesiology as a career option in India.

- •1.Post graduate residents of Anaesthesiology (1st ,2nd and 3rd year) of different medical institutes of India.
- •2.Senior Residents (1st ,2nd and 3rd year) of Anaesthesiology of different medical institutes of India.
排除标准
- •1.The participation is purely voluntary basis, any student unwilling to participate in the study will be excluded.
- •2.Questionnaires which are returned incomplete will be excluded from the study.
