There is renewed interest in the use of ketamine for postoperative analgesia in recent times. Use of Ketamine infiltration for post operative pain relief shows great promise and has not been studied especially in the Indian population. Hence this study is being undertaken to study the same.

入选标准
- •1.ASA Grade I-III.
- •2.Patient undergoing infraumbilical hernia surgery under spinal anaesthesia.
排除标准
- •1.Patient refusal to give consent 2.ASA Grade more than III 3.Pregnant female patients 4.Patients with history of allergy to the study drug 5.Any contraindication for spinal anaesthesia.

Comparison of ketamine and bupivacaine after local wound infiltration for postoperative pain
时间窗: At 0 min, 15 min and 60 minutes,2, 4,6 ,12 and 24 hours post operatively using visual analogue scale
次要结局
- 1.To determine the time for first rescue analgesia.(2.To determine the total amount of analgesic in the first 24 hours post-operatively)
