- •patient aged 16 - 65 years who are medically fit to undergo surgery for mandibular fractures
- •patients who give their consent to participate in the study
- •Patient reporting to casaulty of sree balaji medical college and hospital with fractures in mandibular symphisis
- •patients reporting to casaulty of sree balaji medical college and hospital with fractures in mandibular para-symphisis
- •patients reporting to casaulty of sree balaji medical college and hospital with fractures in body of mandible
- •patients reporting to casualty of sree balaji medical college and hosptial with fractures in angle of mandible
- •patients reporting to casualty of sree balaji medical college and hospital with fractures in mandibular condyle and subcondyle.

- •Patients with pan facial fractures
- •presence of osseous pathology
- •patients unfit for undergoing treatment under general anaesthesia
- •patients with severe systemic disorders
- •patients undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy
