入选标准

  • Male and female persons with neurogenic dysphagia who receive a video endoscopic swallowing examination (FEES) in the Klinik Valens
  • ? Age> 18 years
  • ? Diagnoses: stroke (infra- or supratentorial), Parkinson's syndrome (idiopathic Parkinson's syndrome, multi-system atrophy, progressive supranuclear palsy, corticobasal degeneration, Lewy-body dementia), intracerebral hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury (without critical illness polyneuro- / -Myopathy)
  • ? 1 out of 4 signs of dysphagia (rattling noises in the airways, moist voice sound at rest or after eating, coughing when taking solid and liquid food, recurrent respiratory infections)
  • ? reflective cough after pharyngeal exposure with capsaicin-containing aerosol; Peak Cough Flow> 2.7 l / s (160 l / min)
  • ? Patients who are unable to completely eliminate pharyngeal residuals using arbitrary clearing maneuvers (compensation strategies, night drinking, throat clearing, swallowing, reflex swallowing / coughing) or after reflex cough caused by food / liquid aspiration / penetration
  • ? Written consent of the test subjects after the information has been given

排除标准

  • Patients with structural dysphagia (e.g. trauma, tumor, radiation)
  • Complication-free, requirement-covering food and liquid intake
  • Patients with chronic respiratory diseases
  • ? Patients with severe cardiovascular diseases including uncontrolled arterial hypertension
  • ? reflective cough after pharyngeal exposure with capsaicin-containing aerosol; Peak cough flow <2.7 l / s (160 l / min)
  • ? Diagnoses: Neuromuscular Diseases, Encephalomyelitis Disseminata, Critically Illness Polyneuro - / - Myopathy
  • ? Patients without pharyngeal residuals
  • disturbed nose anatomy
