入选标准
- •Low risk nulliparous pregnant woman with singleton fetus in vertex presentation and who remained undelivered at 39 weeks (at the time of entry into trial).
排除标准
- •Less than 18 & more than 35 Years of age.
- •Fetus with known congenital malformations
- •Major maternal medical illness like hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP),Diabetic complicating Pregnancy, anemia, and Heart disease complicating pregnancy etc.,
- •Fetal growth restriction (FGR)
- •Contraindications for vaginal delivery like CPD, Placenta & Vasa previa, active genital herpes
- •Previous surgery on uterus like Myomectomy, Septal resection
- •HIV positive pregnancy
- •Premature rupture of membrane (PROM)
- •Rh incompatibility
- •Signs of labour before 39 weeks (regular contractions with cervical change)
- •Oligohydramnios (AFI < 8)
