- •Age = 18 years
- •- Indication for elective distal pancreatectomy, with or without splenectomy
- •- Minimally invasive or open surgical removal (resection) for tumors or cysts of the pancreatic tail
- •- ASA I-III
- •- Verbal and written informed consent
- •- Ability to understand the content and scope of the study and to be able to implement it

- •- Distal pancreatectomy as a secondary procedure during a gastric or colon
- •- Participation in another study that influences the study results
- •- > ASA 3
