•i.Cough > 8 weeks.
•ii.Age group:- 18-60 yrs.
•iii.Patients with symptoms of Pitta Pradhana Kapha-Anubandhi Kasa as mentioned in
•diagnostic criteria with cardinal symptoms like Kasa; Ghan Snigdha Shweta Shleshma; Pitta Sansrushta Kapha Shthivan; Vaiswarya and also with the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux
•disease in any of its criteria; i.e. Acid Reflux, dysmotility symptoms, as per FSSG scale
•(Mentioned in ANNEXURE 2).

•i.Patients currently taking bronchodilators; Nebulization, or anti-histamines.
•ii.Patients with Co-morbiditiesâ??Stage II HTN (Systolic BP above 160mmHg and Diastolic BP above 100mmHg), known case of Cardiovascular disease, Known case of DM-Type II.
•iii.Patients with cough due to Respiratory muscle depression.
•iv.Patients with a known case of infective pathology related to the respiratory system.
•v.Patients with any other alimentary system pathology other than GERD and these pathologies
•will be ruled out by USG in concerned subjects having classical symptoms of the disease.
