- •overnight fasting of not less than 8 hrs
- •Consented patients

- •Presence of any systemic disease
- •Reflux oesophagitis,
- •comorbidity linked to gastric motility like DM, Thyroid disease, Gastro intestinal pathologies, Gastro intestinal obstruction patients.
- •Patients who are taking gastric prokinetics
- •Non fasting
- •Undergoing gastrointestinal surgeries
