入选标准
- •1)Ischemic stroke patients older than 18 years old with relevant cerebral infarcts documented through available neuroimaging modalities
- •oRelevance implies that presenting symptoms and signs should be adequately explained by the size and location of documented infarcts
- •oAvailable neuroimaging modality implies computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
- •2)Non-valvular Atrial fibrillation
- •oPreferred to have been documented by electrocardiogram or 24-hour Holter monitoring and its relevance to the index stroke to be documented by a responsible physician
- •oHowever, history of AF documented by medical records prior to index stroke would be acceptable
排除标准
- •1) Refusal to participate in Part II (For part II only, Individuals who are not able to take agreement for the informed consent)
- •2) Patients with prosthetic valve or hemodynamically relevant mitral valve stenosis.
- •3) Patients with transient atrial fibrillation caused by a reversible disorder (e.g., thyrotoxicosis, PE, recent surgery, MI)
