•Subjects diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus at least 10yr of History
•Patients diagnosed with mild to severe non proliferative diabetic retinopathy
•only one eye were selected in that only lower severity was selected if both eye were equal RE was selected
•Subject having HbA1c in the range of 6 to 9

•Patients with other types of retinal diseases
•Patients who had undergone ocular surgery in the study eye 6month prior to the study
•pregnant diabetic patients
•Patients taking with any other treatment for diabetic retinopathy
•Patients with cardiovascular problems
•Uncontrolled hypertensive patients with systolic above 170 and diastolic above 100
•Who had history of adverse reaction to Herbo mineral preparations
•Subject having history of consumption of corticosteroids or 3months prior to the study
