简要总结

Significant reduction in knee circumferences (p 0.001) at 1,3,6-month follow-up visits compared to baseline, and knee fat thickness measured by ultrasound in both axial and sagittal plane at 1 month and 6 months after treatment (p0.036 and p 0.001, respectively) were recorded. Side effects were mild and transient which included mild erythema and tenderness.

入选标准

  • All female subjects complained of unwanted medial knee fat. Presenting with body mass index (BMI) of 18.5 to 30 kg/m2.

排除标准

  • The subjects with the following conditions were excluded from the study: pregnant or lactating women, previous history of liposuction and surgical procedures, previous treatment of botulinum injections and laser procedures, immunosuppressive disorders such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infections and malignancies, those who are taking immunosuppressant drugs, previous history of herpes virus infection, underlying psychological conditions, history of hypertrophic scar or keloid formation, history of any skin infections and skin hypersensitivity or photosensitivity reaction.
