- •ASA grades 1 and 2
- •Age group 40 to 65 years
- •Elective surgery
- •Body mass index <35
排除标准
- •ASA 3 and above
- •Known allergy to tranexamic acid
- •History/evidence of coagulopathy and bleeding disorder
- •Renal dysfunction
- •Current use of antiplatelet medication and antioagulants
- •Thromboembolic events 1 yr prior to surgery
- •Patients requiring general anaesthesia
- •Not satisfying inclusion criteria
- •Patient unwilling to give consent
- •Redo surgeries
