This study is a prospective observational study conducted on 150 patients attended the VarunArjun medical college and Rohilkhand to assess the role of diagnostic hysteroscopy andhistopathology in evaluation of abnormal uterine bleeding. The study was approved by theEthics Board and an informed written consent was taken from each participant in the study.Careful history was taken including nature and severity of vaginal bleeding and symptomssuggesting possible significant pathology. Physical examination (both general and local pelvic)was performed.

- •Intermenstrual heavy bleeding (Menometrorrhagia),
- •Frequent cycles (Polymenorrhea), Infrequent menstrual bleeding (Oligomenorrhea).
- •Frequent and heavy menstrual bleeding (Polymenorrhagia),
- •Fibroid uterus
- •Uterovaginal congenital anomaly.
排除标准
- •IUCD (Intrauterine contraceptive devices),
- •Hormone producing Ovarian tumours in USG,
- •Endocrine disorders like hyperthyroidism- or hypothyroidism,
- •Cervical malignancy 5.

to assess different causes of abnormal uterine bleeding
时间窗: 4 weeks
次要结局
- to correlate hysteroscopic findings with histopathological results(8 weeks)
