- •Inclusion criteria were as follows: 1) patients diagnosed with hypertension by a physician; 2) patients who received one antihypertensive medication at least; 3) patients who agreed to participate in the survey and more than 18 years old. Excluded criteria were as: 1) pregnant women and being pregnant during the study and 2) secondary hypertensive patients.
