Drivers who exposed to air pollution, there will be respiratory microbiome dysbiosis.

Hence after practicing neti regularly may be helpful in correcting dysbiosis

入选标准

  • Participants must be professional drivers (e.g., auto-rickshaw drivers, cab drivers, delivery personnel) who are regularly exposed to vehicular emissions and spend significant time on the road.
  • 18 to 60 years old
  • Participants should not have undergone nasal or sinus surgery within the last 6 months, as this could affect the nasal microbiome.
  • Individuals who are willing to participate in the study.

排除标准

  • Participants who have had a respiratory infection (e.g., cold, flu, sinusitis) within the last 4 weeks will be excluded, as infections can temporarily alter the respiratory microbiota.
  • Subjects allergic to ghee
  • Participants on antibiotics within the last 3 months, as antibiotics can significantly alter the respiratory microbiota.
  • Smokers, as smoking can significantly alter the respiratory microbiota
  • Participants who are unwilling to adhere to the study protocol, including regular practice of Ghrita Neti or Jala Neti.
