•?Be between the ages of 18–65 years;
•?Have anterolateral acromial area pain or pain with active shoulder elevation [17] and symptoms lasting 1 to 6 months;
•?Have one positive sign in each of the following 4 categories: presence of pain when resisting humeral external rotation or abduction, Jobe Test, Hawkins Test, Neer Test;
•?VAS score = 40 mm.

•?Clinical signs of massive rotator cuff tears (a tear of greater than five centimetres in diameter) or the presence of two or more tendon tears [18, 19];
•?Glenohumeral osteoarthritis (OA) or other inflammatory arthritis;
•?Frozen shoulder;
•?Fracture or dislocation of the shoulder;
•?History of neck or shoulder surgery;
•?Severe osteoporosis;
•?Neurological disorders, rheumatoid arthritis, tumour, Parkinsons disease or other neurological disorders
•?Pregnancy.
