简要总结

This retrospective observational study aims to evaluate early marginal bone loss around dental implants using panoramic radiographs. Radiographic records of patients who underwent mandibular dental implant surgery and implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation will be reviewed. Marginal bone loss will be measured on the mesial and distal aspects of each implant at final restoration delivery and at follow-up periods after prosthetic loading. The study will also assess patient-, implant-, and prosthesis-related factors associated with marginal bone loss.

入选标准

•Individuals older than 18 years
•Patients with mandibular dental implants
•Availability of panoramic radiographs obtained after implant surgery and after prosthetic loading
•Panoramic radiographs suitable for radiographic evaluation
•Visibility of the mandibular inferior cortex and mental foramen on panoramic radiographs
•Systemically healthy individuals

排除标准

•Low-quality panoramic radiographs
•Missing follow-up radiographs
•Presence of systemic diseases or conditions that may affect bone metabolism
