简要总结

This study evaluates the effect of the BATHE therapeutic interview technique on treatment adherence and blood pressure control in primary care hypertension patients.

Hypertension patients aged 18-80 years were randomly assigned to an intervention or control group. The intervention group received the structured BATHE communication technique during clinical visits, while the control group received standard primary care counseling on drug adherence and lifestyle changes. Patients were followed for 6 months (visits at baseline, 3 months, and 6 months). Primary outcomes assessed include treatment adherence scores, drug compliance, and blood pressure levels.

详细描述

Study Design:

A single-blind, randomized controlled intervention trial conducted in a primary care setting.

Intervention & Control:

All visits were conducted by a single physician.

Intervention Group: Received 5-7 minute BATHE technique consultations (Background, Affect, Troubling, Handling, Empathy) along with routine lifestyle and medication advice.
