Effect of topical application of Nimbadi taila along with Guggulutikthaka kashayam and Kaisoraguggulu in Chronic venous ulcer : A Single arm clinical trial.

简要总结
This is an interventional pre and post study without a control group. Participants irrespective of gender, within the age group of 40-60 years attending OPD and IPD of Government Ayurveda College Hospital Thiruvananthapuram satisfying the inclusion criteria will be subjected to consecutive sampling and total of 28 participants will be selected for the study. In this study ulcer will be managed by cleaning and dressing with normal saline solution along with topical application of Nimbadi taila and internal administration of Guggulutikthaka kashayam and Kaisora guggulu. The duration is 28 days and assessment will be done on 0th 7th 14th 21st and 28th day based on subjective and objective criteria and the changes in parameters will be recorded. The result will be statistically analyzed based on the nature of the data using Paired t test Wilcoxon signed rank test Repeated measures ANOVA or Friedman test

- •Inclusion criteria:
- •Participants with clinical signs and symptoms of chronic venous ulcer
- •Participants between the age of 40-60 years
- •Ulcer size not more than 10×15 cm.
- •b) EXCLUSION CRITERIA:-
- •Participants known to have uncontrolled Diabetes mellitus
- •Arterial ulcers.
