- •.CHILD BETWEEN 6 AND 11 MONTHS 29 DAYS OF AGE.
- •.CAJAMARCA CITY AND THE CAJAMARCA BATHS DISTRICT RESIDENTS AND THOSE COMMUNITIES CLOSE TO THE INCA BATHS CMI.
- •.BORN AT TERM.
- •.BIRTH WEIGHT ≥ 2500 g
- •.HEMOGLOBIN> 8 g / dL (CORRECTED FOR ALTITUDE)
- •.WEIGHT / LENGTH> 2 SD
- •.ACCEPTANCE OF CHILD´S PARENTS AND SIGN THE STATEMENT OF INFORMED CONSENT.
排除标准
- •.UNDER 6 MONTHS OF AGE OR ≧ 12 MONTHS OF AGE.
- •.CAJAMARCA NON-RESIDENTS(PLACE OF INTERVENTION).
- •.CHILDREN WITH LESS THAN 8 g / dL OF INITIAL HEMOGLOBIN (CORRECTED FOR ALTITUDE).EACH CHILD WILL BE EVALUATED BY A PHYSICIAN TO RULE OUT ANY ADDITIONAL PATHOLOGY AND RECEIVE TREATMENT ACCORDING TO STANDARDS OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH.
