入选标准

•120 patients of ASA physical status I and II of both genders aged between 19 -60 yrs undergoing LC were included in the study.

排除标准

•1.Diabetes mellitus, significant cardiac, hepatic or renal disease
•2.GIT disease
•3.Laparoscopy replaced by laparotomy
•4.Previous history of PONV/ motion sickness
•5.Patients with body mass index (BMI) >30 kg/m2
•6.Currently receiving steroids or antiemetics
•7.Allergy to study drugs.
•8.Pregnancy or menstruation
•9.Patients who cannot be contacted by telephone.
•10.Abnormal blood glucose on morning of surgery
