入选标准

  • •Females aged 18 to 35 years with a confirmed diagnosis of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).
  • •Able to understand Urdu or English.
  • •Willing to provide informed consent.
  • •Available to participate in the intervention sessions.
  • •BAS-2 scale scores should highlight the issues.

排除标准

  • •Females with severe psychiatric disorders (e.g., psychotic disorders), cognitive impairments.
  • •Current participation in another psychological intervention
  • •With previous ACT treatment.
  • •With serious medical conditions that may interfere with study participation.

The intervention consists of a structured Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) program based on the Hexaflex model. The program will include sessions focusing on the six core ACT processes: acceptance, cognitive defusion, present-moment awareness, self-as-context, values clarification, and committed action. The intervention is designed to improve psychological flexibility, reduce body-related distress, and enhance self-esteem and body image among females with PCOS.,Matched activities but not ACT related activities,No Treatment;Experimental Behavioral,Sham Comparator Behavioral,Placebo Comparator No treatment;ACT,ACT,Waitlist
