入选标准
- •Patients referred for nephrology consultation meeting following criteria will be eligible for inclusion:
- •Patients of either sex more than 12 years of age willing to consent
- •Patients with threefold increase in the serum creatinine or GFR decrease by 75 percent or urine output of <0.3 mL/kg per hour for 24 hours, or anuria for 12 hours
排除标准
- •Patients needing emergency dialysis which will include:
- •-Refractory fluid overload
- •-Hyperkalemia >6mEq/l unresponsive to medical management
- •-Signs of uremia, such as pericarditis, neuropathy, or an otherwise unexplained decline in mental status
- •-Metabolic acidosis (pH less than 7.1)
- •Patient under 12 years of age
- •Unwilling to consent
