入选标准
- •1.Newly diagnosed patients (age 18 years or above) with clinic-radiological diagnosis of locally advanced, unresectable or metastatic oesophageal cancer.
- •2.Patients assessed in Thoracic Oncology Clinic and not referred to Palliative Medicine
- •3. Patient must have a caregiver.
- •4. Able to give informed consent for questionnaire administration and willing to participate.
- •5.Able to communicate and understand English/Hindi/Marathi.
- •1. Adults (aged 18 years or over) identified by the patient as the person closest to them (family member/ close friend).
- •2. Able to give informed consent to complete the questionnaires.
排除标准
- •1. Patients having pre-existing psychiatric disorder or cognitive impairment preventing patients from comprehending questionnaire.
- •2. Patients with unstable medical condition requiring any emergency treatment.
- •3. Patients unable to express their views even with communication aids.
- •4.Patients already referred to Palliative Medicine Department.
