- •All patients aged between 10 to 60 years of age presented to surgical department with diagnosis of acute appendicitis.
排除标准
- •1.Diffuse peritonitis
- •2.Appendicular mass
- •3.Appendicular abscess
- •4.Antibiotic documented allergy
- •5.Ongoing previously commenced antibiotic therapy
- •6.Previous appendectomy
- •7. Positive pregnancy test
- •8. IBD history or suspicion of IBD re-occurrence
- •9. Modified Alvarado score below 7.
