入选标准
- •1. Paediatric patients between 7-15 years of age
- •belonging to ASA physical status 1 or 2 posted
- •for elective surgery under general anaesthesia.
- •2. Patients having IV cannula inserted within 24-
- •48 hours prior to surgery with no pain on
- •flushing it with saline
排除标准
- •1. Patient not giving assent/consent.
- •2. Patient with egg allergy.
- •3. Patient who are inconsolable after 5 minutes of giving premedications.
- •4. Haemodynamically unstable patients.
- •5. Local bruising or redness of skin.
