入选标准
- •1. neonates who are admitted in neonatal ward
- •2. neonates corrected age less than or equal 30 days
- •3. neonates who will undergo lumbar puncture
排除标准
- •1. spine or spinal cord abnormality
- •2. has ventriculoperitoneal shunt or ventriculostomy in situ
- •3. previously underwent lumbar puncture
- •4. IVH grade II or above
- •5. patients who have contraindication for LP eg. increased intracranial pressure, skin infection at puncture site
- •6. platelet < 50,000/microliter
- •7. unstable vital signs
- •8. legal guardian unable to communicate in Thai
