This prospective clinical trial aims to evaluate the efficacy of the homeopathic medicine Nerium oleander in patients with atopic dermatitis. Nerium oleander, prepared from the Oleander plant, is traditionally used in homeopathy for skin disorders marked by intense itching, inflammatory eruptions, and excoriations—features that resemble atopic dermatitis. Participants will receive individualized homoeopathic treatment with Nerium oleander. Disease severity and treatment response will be assessed monthly using the validated SCORAD (Scoring Atopic Dermatitis) index, which integrates objective signs, subjective symptoms (pruritus, sleep loss), and overall extent of disease.

入选标准
- •i.Patients diagnosed with Atopic Dermatitis as per Hanifin and Rajka criteria and serum IgE levels.
- •ii.Patients of age groups from 18 to 60 years.
- •iii.Patient whose SCORAD index would be mild to moderate in terms of severity.
- •iv.Patients who have not taken any antihistamines or corticosteroids for at least 7 days prior to the start of treatment.
- •v.Patients willing to give informed consent and comply with the study protocol.
排除标准
- •i.Patients with suffering from secondary infection like presence of infected eczema, impetigo, eczema herpeticum, or other acute bacterial and viral skin infections.
- •ii.Patients with age less than 18 years and more than 60 years.
- •iii.Patients with severe SCORAD scored disease should not be considered.
- •iv.Patients who have taken any antihistamine or corticosteroid for at least 7 days prior to treatment with homoeopathic medicine.
- •v.Patients with other dermatological conditions co-existing chronic skin diseases like psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, etc., that may interfere with diagnosis or outcome.
- •vi.Patients with immunocompromised status, autoimmune diseases, or systemic infections.
- •viii.Patients who are unable or unwilling to comply with the study protocol, such as adhering to treatment regimen and attending follow-up visits.

时间窗: 00-03 months for enrollment of cases
次要结局
- Change in Visual Analogue Scale VAS for pruritus and sleep loss.
- Proportion of participants achieving equal to or more than 50 percentage reduction in SCORAD index score(3rd,6th,9th month)
