  • 1.All Patients with bilateral fused hips (complete loss of movement and, x-rays showing complete loss of joint space and trabeculae passing from the acetabulum to the head of the femur due to Ankylosing Spondylitis requiring Total Hip Arthroplasty
  • 2.Patients giving consent for the study

排除标准

  • 1.Unilateral fused hip
  • 2.Surgically arthrodesed hips
  • 3.Fused hips due to heterotrophic ossification
  • 4.Previous history of any surgery to the hips
  • 5.One fused hip and hip replacement prosthesis in the other
  • 6.Refusal to participate in the study
