- •1)Patients of age 18 and 80 years
- •2)American society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) status I-III
- •3)Body mass index between 18 and 35kg/m2
- •4)Upper limb surgery below elbow
排除标准
- •1)Patient refusal
- •2)Inability to give consent to study
- •3)Coagulopathy,sepsis,hepatic or renal failure
- •4)Allergy to local anaesthetic
- •5)Pre-existing musculocutaneous/median/radial/ulnar neuropathy
- •6)Infection at the site of block /needle insertion site
- •7)Presence of rib fractures
- •8)Body mass index more than 35kg/m2
- •9)Inability to perform bed side spirometer test
