简要总结
The present study aims to investigate the immediate and short-term effects of trataka on brain wave dynamics measured through Electroencephalography (EEG). To fulfill the purpose of the study, participants will be randomly divided into two groups of twenty-two (22) each: Trataka group and age and sex matched Control Group. The primary outcome measures will be brain waves and state of mind. The secondary outcome will be EKG. Outcomes will be assessed at baseline and 6 weeks.

入选标准
- •Healthy students with normal vision and an age range of 18 to 30 years.
- •Males and females will be considered for the study.
- •The participants will not have any prior exposure to any form of trataka practice, and no Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
- •The participants will be right-handed.
排除标准
- •Individuals with epilepsy, glaucoma, or any kind of severe eye problem will be excluded.
- •Smokers and habitual drinkers, and individuals on any medication will be excluded.
- •Those who have no faith in ancient yogic techniques of Indian culture will be excluded.
