简要总结
Parents of children diagnosed with cancer are exposed to high psychological stress. A yoga program (4 weeks, 3 times a week, supervised and self-administered training) offered by the German Sport University Cologne at the Children's Hospital Amsterdamer Straße Cologne aims to provide support to those affected. Based on 6 interviews, it was found that the yoga training helped to reduce emotional burdens and improve well-being in the short term. However, the demanding (clinic) daily routine posed a significant challenge in planning and implementing the yoga sessions. Individualized training concepts are needed to anchor yoga programs for parents of children and adolescents with cancer in the healthcare structure.
