•1. Patients willing to participate in study.
•2. Patients with condylar fractures with or without other mandibular fractures.
•3. Patients reporting OPD within 1 week after injury.
•4. Patients with condylar fracture of type 1 and type 2 according to Wassmundâ??s classification and according to MacLennan classification a)no displacement, and b)deviation
•5. Patients with intracapsular and condylar neck fracture
•6. Patients willing for closed reduction.

•1) Patients without condylar fractures.
•2) Patients reporting to OPD after 1 week of injury.
•3) Patients willing for open reduction and internal fixation.
•4) Patients with communited/displaced condylar fracture.
•5) Patients with history of any TMJ disorder or any invasive procedure on TMJ.
•6) Patients having history of any systemic diseases.
•7) Patients with history of asthma, epilepsy etc. where intermaxillary fixation are contraindicated.
•8) Pregnant and lactating patient.
•9) Patients which are unable to follow study protocol.
•10) A patient with any other associated Cranio-maxillary fractures except mentioned in inclusion
