The individuals with neck pain had significantly decreased HR (2.73 ± 1.08cm) and increased PR ratio (2.22 ± 0.75) compared with asymptomatic. The mean and standard deviation value of HR and PR ratio in asymptomatic group was 3.41 ± 0.93cm and 1.72 ± 0.36, respectively. However, there were no significant differences in HP and HE between the two groups. The results of this study indicated that HR and PR ratio should be considered for evaluating patients with neck pain.

- •1) neck pain group
- •(1) experience of neck pain over 3 months
- •(2) 5 = Numeric pain rating scale (NPRS) = 7
- •(3) 30 = Neck disability index (NDI) = 48
- •2) asymptomatic group
- •(1) no history of neck pain within 3 months
- •(2) NPRS < 3
- •(3) NDI < 8.
排除标准
- •The exclusion criteria for the study included Body mass index (BMI) less than 18.5kg/m² or greater than 29.9kg/m², a history of orthopedic diagnosis in the neck, prior neck surgery, and the presence of systemic or neurologic diseases.
