入选标准
- •Age 18-60 years
- •Body Mass index >30 Kg/m2
排除标准
- •Known case of diabetes mellitus
- •Asthma, bronchitis, Empysema, COPD
- •Acute infections and advanced end-organ damage
- •History of pancreatitis
- •On any medication within last one month which could potentially influence insulin secretion, insulin sensitivity, alpha and beta blockers, short acting bronchodilators, anticholonergic, theophyllines.
- •Pregnancy and lactation at the time of study.
- •Severe end organ damage or chronic diseases: renal/ hepatic failure, any malignancy, nephrotic syndrome, malabsorption etc.
