- •Patients more than 18 years of age, undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia with endotracheal tube, in JIPMER-Puducherry.
排除标准
- •1.Patients requiring rapid-sequence induction.
- •2.Patients with naso-gastric tube in-situ.
- •3. Patients with neck swelling, deformities of neck preventing upper oesophageal ultrasound.
- •4. Patients with oesophageal/gastric pathology/GERD.
- •5.Patients with air in gastric antrum prior to FMV
