- •Male or female
- •Age 18 – 55 years
- •DSM-IV diagnosis of major depression
- •A score of 16 or greater on the 17-item HAM-D
- •Signed informed consent form
- •Negative urine pregnancy test in women at the screening visit and PET days.
- •Are the trial subjects under 18? no
- •Number of subjects for this age range:
- •F.1.2 Adults (18-64 years) yes
- •F.1.2.1 Number of subjects for this age range
- •F.1.3 Elderly (>=65 years)
- •F.1.3.1 Number of subjects for this age range
排除标准
- •Concomitant major medical or neurological illness
- •Clinically relevant abnormalities on a general physical examination and routine laboratory screening
- •Current substance abuse
- •Use of SSRIs or other drugs with affinity to SERT within last 3 months (or use of fluoxetine within last 4 months)
- •Any exposure to artificial radiation within 6 months prior to the inclusion into the present study
