入选标准
- •Patients group
- •(1) 65 years of age or older
- •(2) who had complaints of dysphagia symptoms such as swallowing difficulty
- •(3) who had tested VFSS for those symptoms
- •control group (70 people recruited in previous study)
- •(1) 65 years of age or older
- •(2) without dysphagia symptom
- •(3) who had not been diagnosed with pneumonia in the prior year
排除标准
- •Patients group
- •(1) a history of brain disease
- •(2) a history of head, neck, or cervical spine surgery
- •(3) tracheostomy
- •(4) a history of chemotherapy or radiotherapy due to cancer
- •(5) dysphagia in the oral or esophageal phase confirmed on VFSS (to exclude non-pharyngeal dysphagia patients)
- •control group
- •(1) a history of brain disease
- •(2) a history of head, neck, or cervical spine surgery
- •(3) tracheostomy
- •(4) a history of chemotherapy or radiotherapy due to cancer
